• Network Telemetry: To optimize our CDN and streaming systems, we collect non-identifiable metrics such as bandwidth usage, buffering events, and regional node routing data.
• Cryptographic Keys: The platform relies on secure encryption mechanisms. We store your public keys and securely hashed private keys to facilitate secure interactions.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data to:

• Provide, maintain, and securely deliver the Platform.
• Transcode and route media uploads through our distributed edge network for optimal viewing performance.
• Maintain community safety through our multi-tier restriction and moderation system.
• Process O-Coin transactions and creator tipping functionality.

3. Advertising & Analytics

To keep the core Platform free, we partner with third-party vendors, including Google, to serve advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our Platform or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

We do not sell your personal account data directly to these advertisers. You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google's Ads Settings.

4. Data Storage and CDN Processing

Opersona operates on a split-tier architecture. While your account data and text content are securely processed by our master database nodes, heavy media files (images and videos) are temporarily or permanently cached on our external edge nodes and third-party storage buckets to ensure rapid delivery. By uploading media, you consent to this distributed processing.

5. Account Termination & Data Deletion

You may request the deletion of your account at any time. Upon deletion, your public-facing posts, network connections, and personal identifiers will be purged from our active databases. Note that cryptographic hashes and specific moderation logs (e.g., Tier 5 ghosting records) may be retained for platform security purposes.
